Sandstone History and Art Center

Historical displays on 1894 fire, Sandstone Quarries, railroads, Native Americans in Sandstone area, James J. Hill, Sandstone & Kettle River dams, Sandstone businesses, churches, immigration. History center also offers family research, copies of old high school annuals and a wide variety of publications. The building is on the National Register of Historic Places.

 

The Sandstone History and Art Center, SHAAC, is open for the 2024 season.
