Notice of Initial Service Line Materials Inventory

The City of Sandstone has completed and submitted our service line materials inventory to the Minnesota Department of Health. The service line inventory is publicly available, and you can check the materials for your service line by visiting the Lead Inventory Tracking Tool (LITT) (https://maps.umn.edu/LSL/). You may also contact Sandstone City Hall at (320) 245-5241. To complete the service line inventory, our system mailed postcards to owners of unknown service line material, requesting pictures of service lines entering the building. As of 09/30/2024, our inventory contains three (3) lead, one (1) galvanized requiring replacement, 169 unknown material, and 323 non-lead service lines.
